Keep Grey Wolves on the Endangered Species List!

About the Petition

Taking grey wolves off the Endangered Species list would lead to unnecessary deaths for these majestic animals. More than 1,100 wolves have already been killed in the Northern Rockies since Congress took ESA protections away from them in 2011.

If this proposal becomes final, delisting will prematurely turn wolf management over to the states, and we've already seen what can happen when rabid anti-wolf politics are allowed to trump science and core wildlife management principles.

Join Defenders of Wildlife in urging Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell to provide greater oversight while reviewing this proposal and take action to protect American grey wolves.
